motoandy 's 52 Chevy Seat

motoandy brought me the front seat for his 52 Chevy sedan. This is what he brought me. It had a kmart cover on it. Notice the horse hair padding. Sorry about the pics, my digital camera took a dump.

 

It only needed one spring replaced on the outer edge of the seat bottom. I replaced the same one on the other side just to be on the safe side. I then cleaned the frames really good, then shot them with rusty metal primer, then with rustoleum black.

 

He wanted black with grey inserts. Its been good practice for me as i am really rusty.

Glad to see every one keeping up with beachbum Jim and his top notch work man, the seat looks killer. hope all is good with the family thing. Just got back from motoandy helped put the new carb on the 29 and it runs and sounds good Keep up the great work beachbum.
