These are a bit late, but I thought a few of you might enjoy them. This show was very memorable for us. Our car was picked for a special award in honor of Dick Orth, a member of the Pretzel City Rod & Custom C.C., who passed away at too early an age from cancer. Dick's family members selected the car that they thought Dick would have liked the best. To our surprise, to say the least, we were genuinely touched to have Dick's daughter and grandchildren make the presentation. We'll surely think of Dick, and the loved ones he left behind, each time we glance at our kool trophy............Woody & Sandy
Thanks to the Pretzel City Rod & Custom for a great show and lots of really nice folks that made our day!
Woody, looks like a great time was had by all! Like the photos too, especially the Flags! Has your car been together a long time? Stupid question time: where did you get the chrome wheels? They used to be really easy to find but now the repop guys only have smoothies or chevy rallye styles. Are my aging eyes deceiving me or are yours the old fashioned reversed wheels? That is what I am after chrome reversed wheels for my 54 Chevy and cannot source them. Again, thanks for the photos. Good job!
They do appear that way in those pics, but they're actually just smoothies that I got from Coker last summer. They're American Racing Product wheels, 15 x 4, and 15 x 6............Woody
Plenty of mustard on the pretzels here!! Man what a swell collection of real rods and customs. The setting looks spectacular, trees, green grass, and the shot of old glory waving gently in the breeze gave me a warm fuzzy feel for sure. Thanx for sharing this great event with us! ~Sololobo~
