most fruitful two days in a while

I tell ya', yesterday and today have seen the most progress on grandpa's 51 in a long, long time.

For my birthday '06, my folks gifted me a Ron Francis wiring kit to get the Ford rewired....

Fast forward to August, pop and I began the task of removing the old and getting ready to shove in the new.

Pulled out the dash, stripped and painted it......

December 20, resumed wiring work. got alternator, starter, distributor wiring completed.

December 21, wired gauges and prepared for lights and turnsignals.

Feel really, really good about progress.

Maybe actually have it roadworthy by Valentine's!!!

Mucho, mucho excitement!!!

Oh, yeah, in between all this, strip, sand, prime, strip, sand, prime, raise kids, work, teach, strip, sand, prime, etc.

Gosh it's been fun.

Right on. I went through the same stage myself recently and it was a blast. When I finally drove the car you couldn't wipe the grin off my face.

Keep going brother.
