Thanks for the post, great pix. Could you post any ET's with the cars? I had my grandfathers 4 dr 48 Dodge (like the one seen here) on the US 131 Mich strip in the 60's, the goal was 60mph in the quarter but the flat 6 and fluid drive could never quite deliver.

I LOVE the shot of my "SMOKING PECKER" Henry J in the bleach box!! That sticker was on that car before the Mr. Horsepower sticker craze started back up in the last decade! And yes it is a CLAY SMITH CAM in the car. The stickers and the cam were compliments of George Streigle himself in the 80's!

A little fuel problem. Never got it figured out, it even died in the bleach box towards the end and I thought it was out of gas but went to put gas in it and would only take 4 1/2 gallons. I will be pulling the tank, treating the tank, and flushing out the lines before the next road trip!!! Oh yeah and fixing what ever the hell ever broke in the tranny!!!

Oh yeah did you notice the county mounty found me as I was loading up!!! I guess I can't go to MOKAN without them being behind me at some point in time!!!
