Doesn't have to be MOON per sé, but let's see those tanks hanging out in the breeze. Whether it's on a hi-boy or fullsize later model, let's see 'um. Details of tricky brackets a plus! ...my old '64 to get it started...
Eelco with home made bracket out of 3/4 inch aluminum plate and a few holes added.

center>

One day about 4 years ago UPS delivered a box to me, and I hadn't ordered anything. When I opened it up there was a brand new moon tank with the mount and spinner cap inside. Turns out a friend on another forum saw me post that I was thinking about putting a moon tank on the front of the Dodge pickup I was building, and he sent me one as a gift ! When I called him to protest he said he really wanted me to have it. I ended up selling the Dodge before it was done but I kept the moon tank, I will never sell it. I have the makings of a little drag altered sitting in the shop and when I am done with my rpu project I will start on the altered, and this moon tank will get a place of honor right up front. I asked my friend to send me one of his 32 Fords, but he said we aren't THAT good of friends ! Don
Had one on my 55 for a while for "the look". Used Moon brackets bolted through the grille (easy off/on) But where it was not being utilized, I took it off. Felt like a poser with it on there. Guess I could have used it as an over-flow tank.
Mine on my old 32. 3.5 gal Moon with spinner. Used it for coolant. I took it off when i sold the car and has been sitting in my living room since. No fancy mounting brackets, just the Moon ones.... Considering using it on my 32 5 window as the same thing...catch can, but may make my own brackets for that. Tony
Manufactured when Moon was still using the Creighton roadster logo before using the large Mooneye's logo
