Years ago I saw someone made replacement stamping of this top bracket hole.

    Any help appreciated

Dana'sSeats.jpg One of my Q panels had rusted bad,my falt for poor storage. But made a new Q panel from scratch using size n shape from other side. Last thing I did was that top tab hole> Cut hole to size in new made panel, then made the lip shape saround from a arc welding rod that was same higth. Brazed that in placed, floating enough around to blend/smooth with dremal. Looks just like factory> but a little stronger. I didn't want too make a two part stamp for it.

Many years ago I stamped some wind curtain holders (similar to those) for a 32 roadster. I just cut a hole in a plate for a female die, and a corresponding male press for the other side. I clamped a small piece of steel between them in a vice. Then curved, and welded the small piece into the door. If you have some scrap steel, some big drills, and files, you can do the same.
