I brought home this beauty of a Roadster yesterday... my girlfriend has claimed it so I’m not sure I’ll get to ever drive it

Lil’ Miss Alli is her name born in 1928 and she’s 90 years old.

    Another one saved
It will get a set of 35 wires with 5.50-7.50 tires, some reverse eye springs and a few leafs removed to get her sitting a little closer to the ground and some juice brakes.

  4. Looks like its on a 30-31 frame the front crossmember is different than 28-29. Thats why the hood runs uphill. Clean looking roadster though

    Thanks for the input.
I noticed it right away when I looked at the car.

For some reason there are rubber spacers stacked up under the radiator. I haven’t gotten a chance to look into it further other than noticing that. Certainly enough to create the high grill.
Looks as though the cooling system was recently serviced, as it also came with several boxes of new cooling system parts including a fan some pulleys and a few other pieces.
I drove it all around for 30-45 min last night with no overheating issues.
    I’ll make it right.

  6. There should be thin rubber pads that the radiator sits on the the springs and nuts go on top of the radiator ears

Yes I’m familiar however there is at least 1/2” of them stacked on one another.
To raise the radiator way up. I understand there should be shims there but something isn’t adding up.
    Minor detail.
    I’ll get it sorted

Been building this one in the garage with my grandpa for almost 5 years. I just drove it up and down the driveway for the first time this weekend! 20181003_204036.jpg IMG_20181103_170945_463.jpg IMG_20181108_113452_354.jpg
