    Excellent, the whole car is great. On a side note, I really like the swept headers.

  27. Thanks spitbucket.. the fenders are the only things glass on the car, they were done from moulds taken from hand formed ones made by a friend of mine about about 30 years ago. I brought the body over here a couple of years back - purchased it from a lady in Missouri.

    Turtle, thanks for the prompt response. Guess I won't be running to the local Auto Zone or NAPA store to check out those fenders. There is no "in between" with fenders. They either make or break the car.

    I know you guys have to run fenders, but have any of you "tested the waters"? Giant fine? Imprisonment? What?

    Great thread!! I just bought a 29 roadster in original condition on Thursday. Its still in the barn after 56 years of storage....Diggin it out next weekend! Extremely excited.
