Hi all. Evan from Maryland. Done a bunch of bikes and this is my first hot rod. ‘29 Model A I bought needs a lot of finishing touches. Have a repop chopped ‘32 grille and rad coming from Speedway and need mounting suggestions and pics of how it’s been done. Car is chopped and channeled 4” and I guess the rad is going in front of the axle... [IMG][IMG]
Let me know some options and opinions please! Thanks.

This is cool! Are you going to keep the same tires and wheels? My rad is mounted on top of front xmember but there are ways to mount it in front. Check out some t-bucket sites as they may have some ideas for you. I know most t-bucket rads are mounted behind the axle but there are still ideas you can use. After all you are a hotrodder-have fun...………………….

Oh, by the way try to keep the top of the grille shell just below the top of the cowl. You will like the look...……….

One more thing and I will shut up. My 26 coupe is similar to your build. I cut the air dam at the bottom of the grille shell out so more front axle is visiable . I like it better...……..

Thanks 26. Yes keeping the wheels and tires. May get same ones in chrome but not right now. Been doing a lot of searching about rad in front of axle. Just worried about it pushing the grille out too far. Rad will be here tmrw so we’ll see how it all fits together and go from there. Been digging on Evel’s Model A build also Speed-On’s is amazing. I got some ideas and hopefully a bit of luck on my side!

  15. Welcome! I am a former Marylander who moved south to Florida. There's a good group of MD nuts on here, there is also a MD group in the social forums. Oh and watch out for @lothiandon1940

What’s left to finish? I’m using the H.A.M.B. app and don’t see anything else to complete?
