Model A ID

    Any Model A experts out there want to take a stab at helping us ID what we've found here? It was advertised as a 1929 pickup, but it looks like a later cowl. Reguardless, we're going to drag it home tomorrow.

    1929 Cabriolet cowl - quite rare, so just find the back half....

    It looks like a 28-29 4-dr cut down to make a farm truck. One of my available A's is a 28-29 Briggs 4-dr that was cut down, it has the Briggs body plate still tacked to the wooden floor sill. Hope that helps, Bob

    i think, cabriolets had a removable gas tank still????? where as that body looks like its a solid "briggs body" cowl from a sedan???? i could be wrong...

  6. 28/29 4dr Briggs cowl looks like a 30/31 and have a removeable gas tank. Notice the rib on the hoodside that extends from the cowl.
