Sorry that was a balls up, I meant to say machine the axle or space the wishbone jaw...... you machine it off the A axle to fit the later wishbone ...but that is for the major build when you drop the A axle and fit a V8 and 32 K member and/or change gearboxes (the wishbone ball is mounted on the Model A gearbox housing , 32 up its on the chassis/X member and the wishbone is way longer .... helps with sump clearance etc for a V8) You will be keeping the A wishbone and using a 32-36 axle so you just need a couple of 1/4 inch spacers. I was rushing and not thinking clearly , mixing up two different scenarios. Its 1.30 am here I should be asleep.
Too nice to hack. Store the spare tire and bumpers in your garage...do the dropped axle and big/little blackwalls, keep the mechanical brakes if you can keep them adjusted properly. Keep the quail...drive it!
This thread is what I like about hot rods, every reply is right for the guy posting and no one is wrong, we all have a different idea of what looks great. looking forward to seeing what you do with your car. HRP

And you also have those traditional Splash Aprons I know this is a Deuce but I thought of this with your period look and why would Pete be thinking Fenders Off... Hang em in the Garage for a blast...Go for it Lou Bingham and his Coupe But I believe you're thinking late 30s early 40s...and a Sport Coupe comes to mind... Your Coupe has already been Hopped...to some degree to boot...

OK Fellas I'm having a bit of a hard time finding some parts I need which can be shipped with the car and a Im starting to run out of time. Im hoping to source these near NJ. If anyone can help that would be great. Im looking for the following used parts, not new and preferably not repop. Headlights - 902C or similar. Commercials etc would work too. Set of old headlights stands or a headlight bar etc, a stock obe if I have to I can chop up. 750-16 and 550-16 Bias tires. Good runable condition. No cracks etc in sidewall. 33-36 front axle NOT dropped (Have a couple leads on that but if you have one reach out) 32 Spring Perches (may have found those but let me know if you have some too please). Model T rear spring. Main leaf from a Model A spring (want a spare in case I stuff mine up when reversing it or a reversed eye spring. 39 Plymouth tailight assemblies including buckets. Yep those are HARD to find Thanks.
Quick update. Car gets collected from the seller later this week or next who has been beyond awesome to deal with and really looked after me. Could not ask for a better person to deal with. Same with the guy who sold me the 34. Hope to have it 4 weeks after that. I've followed up on a few cars pictured in this thread via PM and would like to thank the members who got back to me and chatted with Chris Garcia from the Bedlam CC who was really helpful about his coupe which is quite an aspirational car for me. Im not sure where I will end up with this and wont know what, if anything I will do with the car until it arrives. Priority will be to get it registered here which is not without its hurdles and will most like include having to fit turn signals which I have on the way. Initially its most likely will just enjoy it as is for quite some time. That being said I have sourced Guide headlights, Okie Joe drilled 33-36 Axle, 32 Perches, T spring, 750 and 550 Firestones plus a raft of service items including brake floaters which will get fitted pretty quickly. Not sure when if at all they would be fitted but it snows here so have a winter to keep entertianed after snowboarding. Thanks again for all the help and advice so far.
Pete, I purchased this coupe after seeing it advertised on the HAMB - it has a stock 34 axle with a reversed eye and flatened front spring, 32 spindles and brakes. It also has a T rear spring. It measures a 5" lowering. The 18" 32 wires measure 29.5" tall - same as the original tyre diameter. Its no hiboy, however. I post this picture to show what can be done with the clever use of stock parts.
