Here's my 31A

 

My Dad and I got this '31 coupe in 1970. She was a late '50s drag car with a solid mounted welded spider Olds rear. I put in a built 283" with an M21 and ran her hard through out the 70's . Pulled the engine in '81 when I blew the 301" in the 3w. Still sitting... there is a 12.5 to 1 roller cam 327" over in the corner calling her name. One of these days? :

Here is mine from last weekend. .

 

Just bought this coupe body , wil go on my B-banger powered model a frame or on my flats powered deuce sedan.
Still in doubt with route to go , gonna work on the body first.

 

Denns you should make the pilgrimage out west to deuce days in a couple years. Let the boys out west here see your car in person! Hope all is well!

That's a great looking coupe! I really like the low stance. Do you have any photos of your front/rear suspension and chassis?

1955 at the drags Convair Field Allentown PA, I started it in "53", ran it in "55' sold it in "59", still miss it.
