Havent done anything in a while so I tried to motivate myself and get in the garage. I lowered the rear about two inches and threw on a set of five spokes.Today hopefully Ill pull the body back off and finish up all the loose ends on my frame.Hopefully Ill be on the road for early spring

  2. Sure looks good to me. My roadster is going into hibernation for about 5 months. I hate winter.

  3. Looks good.

Time for me to put the Lexan quarter windows in my 32.
Those along with the Lexan windwings and top help a lot in cold weather.
At least cold weather here, in the low 30's this morning.
Arizona - where I'm going - looks to be a different story.
Probably have to invent some side windows.

All kidding aside, a heater works well in these little cars.
    Even without a top.
It's especially helpful for the passenger.

Good jackets, knit caps and a blanket over your lap works well too.

You guys may want to give some thought to a top.
They're easy to take off - 4 bolts and 7-10 snaps depending.
The top extends the season and on hot summer days the shade is a nice refuge from the sun.

Winter does suck. A top is in the works soon. Gotta be able to run year round. A friend designed a top that breaks down in the middle and stores in a small bag. Ive been in his car in February and with the heater and side curtains it is comfortable. The top has the look of a Carson top.

I drive my roadster year round as long as the roads are dry and the temps aren't below 25 degrees I have a heater from a '37 Ch*#y and 180 degree thermostats. When it's really cold you still need gloves and a hat, but you don't shiver. In the early 60's I drove a 34 pickup with no heat. Didn't take many long drives until spring.
