Minnesota Back to the 50's

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by seesko, Apr 17, 2009.

  1. There seemed like more cars than ever, but good Hamb worthy cars were few and far between... Seas of billet and lots of rat turds. I didn't even come close to covering the whole fairgrounds though. I'm going early for the swap tomorrow, and hopefully I'll see some more great traditional cars. I missed the meet and greet again, but I did see lots of Hamber's cars. It's hard to get any decent pics with so many people. So, here's the only pictures that I snapped today-

This 47 belongs to my stepfather. Thanks to help from some HAMB'ers we found the original builder of this car. We also have some photos of this car from 1960 when it was originally customized. I will be hopefully sharing the photos here on the HAMB real soon. Great weather for the show. Hope the swap meet is good tomorrow!

I walked for 7 hours today and fried the top of my balding head. Note to those going tomorrow, remember a hat! I saw very few HAMB shirts and firewall tags, lots of neat stuff and lots more "other" stuff.

  5. Wow
My car is on the HAMB. It is in the very lower left corner. I spent a lot of time there on Saturday and the 47 got a LOT of attention.

I scrolled up and down through those pictures trying to find your car, a couple times. Then I noticed it reflecting in the paint of the '47.:D

All of my pictures from the weekend are now uploaded to my myspace profile:

*Disclaimer*- I'm not a car snob, I like all kinds of cars/trucks, so you will have to sort through some non "H.A.M.B.-worthy" vehicles in my photo album, but I assure you there are member's vehicles mixed in, and little to no billet.

I was impressed with the amount of traditional cars at BTT50 this year, I was there both Friday and Saturday, I also noticed lot of old Hemis this year. It was a great show.

Haha! This is how I spent most of the weekend! Hood up, looking for tools. I didn't even see you take this. Wish I could have relaxed and enjoyed the show more.

I did the artwork for the tin signs but I didn't see the actual finished piece yet. How did they turn out?
