Check list. Tires are good. Oil is fresh. Runs and stops just like it did last year. Wipers work. I'm good to go.

cmon man - we had 80% chance of rain up here in Iowa for our show and NO rain happened.

Don't pay attention to the weather reports - come out and have a good time no matter what.

    Seeya there

  9. Well there was a little bit on Friday, but MANY braved it and came out anyway. I'm sure it will be the same for Rust Revival!

Every year I can remember, it's always rained in the early morning, but cleared out by 8 or 9. Then sunny the rest of the day...Well maybe a few sprinkles in the afternoon. But didn't amount to anything.

Don't wear a cotton shirt or pants though. All of my clothes have shrunk by at least two sizes since last year.:( No doubt from getting rained on.

I'll take the blame for the rain. It rains before, during or after every show I even think about going to. And that's exactly why my 49 is a daily driver. well.... that and the time involved to make it a trailer queen so I can't DRIVE IT!
If anyone has a good set of wiper blades for a 48 to 50 Packard, let me know.

Rain-x is kick ass, I agree, I just remembered I need to send Waynerd a note to give the mini bike a good coat.

Just registered, and now I need to throw a case of oil in the trunk and get ready for the haul. First timer here, and I'm ready to see what a real show looks like.

Thanks Phil, I can tell you like Chebbies. I may drop my buddy in Mount Pleasant a line and see if he can bring his '51 Ford over to the show as well. Not too far from there I think.

For everyone coming through Keokuk, IA /Alexandria, MO for the Rust Revival..... Highway 61 is closed in that area for flooding. We'll give you a heads up if anything changes, or you can check out http://maps.modot.mo.gov/timi/ to see the interactive map.
