I painted this old helmet with hobby store glitter. Turned out not too bad for a first attempt. I'm thinking of trying silver glitter over the white roof of my Acadian. Will give it a try this spring, if it does not work I will sand it down and re-paint. If it works I will post pics.

Eryk never apologize, live thee in glory.

What is up with that massive octagon flake, what's it on? How do spray it? How much clear does it take to bury it?

Haha, thanks Nads. I suppose I shall.

That pic of the hexagon flake is just a super duper closeup macro photo of my Tbird roof. I believe it was .015 size. Donnie sprayed that. He layed it on pretty heavy on that roof. Came out nice. The quality and shape of the flake is important. I don't mess with Roth or Oldschool or any of that stuff. We get our flake directly from the manufacturer. Donnie still has some large quantities. My boys from up north are sitting on stupid amounts of flake. I'm talking drums full of 5 pound bags. Every color you can think of. I'm thinking about flaking my house pretty soon. :D

^^^One of my favorite Pontiacs. Still never seen it in person. I always dug that lace pattern you chose. Got that filigree vine/leaf look. Nice.

I remember a lowrider from the Groupe CC I think, it was a 66 Impala painted green with pot leaves that ran across the side of the car and had a flaked roof. But I mite be mistaken.
