    Hi All,
I am thinking about switching out the sub frame and rail wood for metal on my 1931 Ford wide bed. I was hoping someone might have pictures of this switch on any Model A pickup bed. Does not have to be wide bed specific. I think it is straight forward but it doesn’t hurt to see what others have done for ideas. [IMG]

    Thanks,
    Denny

  2. Maybe this will give you a idea, this is the metal structure I used for the bed of my '32 pickup when I shortened the bed. HRP

beds are very similar from '31 to '37... wheelbases are different...
the subfloor structure should be of the same configuration...
you should be able to cut and splice to fix your's or fab one...
