Art & Inspiration Mechanical fan or clutch?

    I have a hi-volume aluminum fan on my F100, '79 Dodge radiator. Rocky says "Hoover Vacuum Cleaner noise". No poo. Sounds like a mild hurricane, got to replace that thing with a good fixed steelie.
    Still sounds better than a 'gear drive'...just 'different'.
    Some guy heard me rev it at Sonic drive in, asked me if I had a six in it!:eek:
     
  2. I have a clutch fan right now but I think it's unnecessary. Gonna pitch it for a regular fan and keep it around if I ad AC later.

    Traditional is driving not sitting along the side of the road boiling over. If it works as is, let it alone and drive the thing.
