    Hello All,
I'm running 12" Lincoln brakes with buick drums in the front and a 8" Ford rear out of a 63 comet. They are 10" brakes. What master cylinder do I need for this setup (year etc.)? Do I need a proportioning valve as well? Thanks

Find out the bore sizes of the wheel cylinders and you should find one that is close. I would guess a 7/8 bore master, like a 49-54 chevy under floor would work. if you wanted a dual, you can mount a chevelle 4w drum master behind a gutted stock one and retain the pedal setup. I did this with a 1" vette master and kept it all looking stock.
