Projects Mart's 41 pickup: Cowl vent rework. No breakages!

With a distinct lack of fabricated or natural jeopardy, I take my cowl vent off and put it back on again. How do I come up with this stuff. Mercifully, it's not too long and in only one part.

Hambers with Fords of this era in particular might appreciate the details showing the specialised hardware that is involved. I believe most are similar.
