First thing was to dotweld it together with the tig and grind it.
Then it was adding bondo and grind it to get radius on the inside edges .
This panel is the model for future alu casting . All edges need to be angeld to get realese in the sand.

Rather than worry about draft in the switch holes, just fill them solid on your pattern. Drill the fresh casting when it's done.

Thanks. Glad you like it guys =)

Alchemy, it has crossed my mind. But the holes are 3/4 and ill start to try doing the holes. it has worked before. If it turnes out bad i´ll fill them as you said.
Ive seen the thread about your Pierce Arrow dash. That is a lot of time spent on that one. Really Great work there =)

I might do another version where the lower line follow the stock dash.
Draw this one today. A little aero inspired ;)
Do you guys think it would turn out better then the first one ?

Wow, I had to show that lower dash / switch plate to my wife. And then I had to explain why it is so cool.

Thank you guys for the coments, I have made the decision not to use the switch panel I did a few days ago. Anyway I am goin to cast a few in case someone else wants it.
Even the second one that I only have as a drawing (post #553) doesnt feel right.
My last ideas is a model that has the bottom line as a elipse just as the gauge dash has.
With a alu frame and a flat surface with a stainless circle-polished sheet .
Anyway time will tell how it turns out :)

I let the switch panel leave my head today and spend this evening to build a gas and brake pedal . My plan was to have some casted pedals but I did it like this instead.

The brake pedal might seems strange, in this little contry there is a law saying that you have to be able braking with your right foot and that the pedal has to be on the right side of the steering column.
With this one I can use both left and right foot to brake :)

    Thanks Guys =)

Folks, not much lately but yesterday my mate Jonny helped me sort out some electrical things. Also been working some with the left rear quarter.

Bye the way I joined the HAMB Alliance today to support Ryan and this great forum, you guys should do the same =)
