  9. 296 = 4 1/8" stroke - from an offset ground 4" Merc crank and a 3 3/8" bore.

    Heck that's only .914 over I wonder why he didn't go out to 427 maybe the block had core shift.

    I think the claimed Pinto rear end is a bigger tell than the possible typo on cubic inches...

    I was offered the same situation when selling my 1931 PU twice, in the last two days..
    seems the buyers are always out at sea, but buying it for a friend as a surprise..
    I passed, did I do bad ?

    I betting it suppose to be 296 cu. inch and $16,000.00 price..:)

    Nice try Benno.....but no cigar........that's a reach too far... 4 bolt pinto bolt circle to 5 bolt 5 1/2" BC with wire wheels, no less!! :confused::eek::D .... How about the '38 Packard trans?? What say you?
