What method is best to restore a set of Magnesium spindle mount rims ? I do not want to polish the rims, I only wish to remove years oxidation and stains.
You might try dry -ice blasting if that service is offered in your area or the next harshest procedure might be soda blasting. I always try the gentlest methods of cleaning first when the goal is to simply clean a part.
