so, im preping the front section of my frame, and iv got some of it to bare metal. i got all the dirt grease and grim off. now, i saw this stuff on Trucks once. its some stuff you can brush on your frame and it seals it and keeps rust from forming. what is this stuff, i cant remember the name for my life?

Wear a set of good rubber gloves when you work with por-15, it takes a week to get that stuff of from your hands...

...and face - don´t ask me how I know

In 1978 when I built my '32 for Bonneville, I went to a local paint mfg. for guidance. They told me to use an epoxy paint made for use on food prossing machines. I was told citric acid is very hard on paint and anything that will stand up to that would be good for me. I bought some and brushed it on clean bear metal. Gloss black. It was still looking good in 98 when I sold the car, after lots of salt and dust.
