Since I had the doors off to fab up the window channels I decided to patch up some holes in them. None are done to high standards as they won't be seen. My intention was to get them done and move on to other repairs.
Made a lower door inner patch. Used 18ga steel in the bead roller with a tipping die then straightened it with the shrinker/stretcher. Was going to do a second lip but decided to weld directly to the doors edge. No one will ever see it. Patched some holes in the door made by the PO. Also discovered a potential rattle that would have drove me crazy. Seems whdn the the doors were converted to suicide someone took a short cut by grinding the door lock flush and welding over it leaving the cylinder and rod free to make unpopular music. 20200530_171428.jpg 20200530_173353.jpg 20200530_193349.jpg 20200524_183822.jpg 20200524_194201.jpg 20200524_194714.jpg 20200524_194725.jpg 20200524_200323.jpg 20200524_200331.jpg 20200525_141110.jpg 20200525_145934.jpg 20200525_200507.jpg 20200525_200343.jpg

No real purpose I can see other than experimenting on where/how to install door latch solenoids.
