Well Guys I've been pretty busy working on my 37, but I did find time to do a little trading. I ran across a fell when I was looking for parts for my 37, brake parts. He had a complete 39 4 door, last driven in 1958. Story was either the clutch or u-joint went out. Any way this fell wanted to build a custom 40-I had that one I had bought that was sand blasted, body frame and int. trim. I knew I would newer get it done and it was starting to oxidise already from setting. He brought the 39 to me and we traded even up. We were both happy. I cleaned up the 39 and it is in good shape no rust in floors or trunk. It appears to never had anything modified on it. I just got the hood open yesterday and put desial and marvel myst. in the cyl. Will let it set now till I get the 37 done. That hood was s---o froze up it took about 4 hrs prying tapping and a few 4 letter words to get it open. Did break the release handle in the process. If anybody has a decent orig. pm me I could use it. here are some photos first is the 40

All that work to open the hood and you don't share some pics of the engine? That would have been my first shot.

I like it, and I don't usually like fordors.
