A pal (kroozn) in LV has four gallons of Sikkens silver base for me and would like to send it via a visitor to SEMA. He has a restoration and paint shop at the raceway and is hosting a free chow-down at his shop where the paint can be picked up, or arrangements can be made to get it to another location in the area. He's a long-time HAMBer, an outstanding craftsman, and a life-long hot rodder (just beginning on a Chrisman-style Model A coupe for Bonneville). Here are the particulars from his e-mail announcing the Seventh Annual get-together.

    Thursday afternoon and evening.
If you are reading this and going to be in Vegas ... you are invited.
Just head North towards Utah on I-15 and take the Las Vegas Speedway exit.
Head towards the Speedway passing the Petro.
Drive past Caroll Shelby's exit and take the 2nd right.
The 4th building on the left is # 6947 with a blue stripe and the letter "S" in it.
    Hang a left just after the building I am the 2nd and 3rd units.... 106 & 7.
Simple fare... burgers, hot dogs, chips & soda.
Just show up ... we'll feed ya!
    It's fun!
    Carl

I'm in Santa Rosa but will travel to another part of NorCal for the handoff.

    TIA

If you are not able or don't want to come out to the shop to get Mike's paint (boxed & sealed cans ... no smell) I will meet you in town.
    Thanks,
    Carl
