Hi all, Thought i'd take the time and finally introduce myself, my names Simon and I'm from the south coast of England.I've got a '48 Plymouth business coupe that's pretty much stock at the moment except for being lowered with cut springs and blocks.Plans for car are very much early 50's mild custom style and I've been searching this forum for inspiration and ideas, also own an English '61 Ford Zodiac wagon that's in my avatar Thanks for the all info that's been posted this is a great archive.

    Regards........... Simon.

48 Plymouth , I think that this will fit in. Read and learn- yes, also teach where you can. Welcome to the HAMB.

A big "boat" like that is just what's needed down your way at present!
    Welcome.
Used to live in Seaton myself. Is Blackborough scrapyard near Honiton still full of vintage cars like it was 20 years ago?

    Hi Ed,
I live in Romsey, Hampshire which is slowly submerging after the last six weeks heavy rain so a boat is rapidly becoming the transport of choice.I know Seaton as my Mum's lived there for past nine years but not come across the Honiton scrapyard, I can feel a family holiday trip coming on!!

    Regards ........... Simon.

Welcome Simon, love the car. I've got a 49 business coupe and a 48 club coupe; both great cars.

Welcome aboard from the East coast over here in the states.

I know what you mean about the weather. We've been pounded by snow instead of rain. At least we can shovel that and let it turn to water slowly........................

Cool Mopar! Give us a little more in your profile and don't hesitate to share pics. We LOVE them!
