Having owned a Merc for over 30 years......I dig'em either way, chopped or unchopped.

 

I like 'em both ways, but I have to say--all ANYONE ever seems to talk or think about is chopping shit.

If I had a dollar for everyone who told me I should chop my '49 Ford Club Coupe, I'd be actually able to pay to have it chopped.

Same is true of '49-'51 Mercs.

So, my hat is off to you Unchoppers. (That should be your club name, by the way.)

What a great thread. I've had so many people tell me not to chop my '49. I thought they were nuts but look at these cars posted. Great looking and becoming more rare. I'm down for an Unchoppers Club.

Does anybody know where this one is now. It was built in the mid to late 80`s in Council Bluffs Iowa. A detailed flathead with Rebalation lettered on the rear quarter panel.
