...just like the title says, I'm looking for someone able to punch louvers into some fairly large AL panels. The largest would be roughly 68"x48", 16ga. I'm doing this for a work project and am somewhat under the gun, so any leads are appreciated. Thanks! -Sperry
Skip should be able to help you. However, I do not have his contact information. Send a PM to El Polacko he can get you in touch with him.
Chip Quinn is the guy, and as dessertdroog posted, ElPolacko can get you his contact info. Ha Ha! Too late! (see above)
Thanks Steve (no thanks to Mike and Droog, ha!)... talked to him a few minutes ago and hopefully he'll be able to do it next week. Now I just need to clear it with our Goldberg device, I mean purchasing dept.
Mike; I'm punching holes in some stuff... for a thing... ;^) Hmmm... I'd tell you, all of you, but you wouldn't like what happened next... and my jobless ass would like it even less! Jeem; c'mon man... I don't need to get into Chip's personal life. I just want some louvers punched! (Although now I see how you could get confused...) KIRK!; wow. Just... wow.
It's no pun. Kirk's right. Louvers were invented and patented in Virginia. In fact, an early Virginia newspaper was called The Louver Press. We have pioneers on the east coast to thank for having invented metalflake naugahyde. You'll need to travel through rural Georgia to trace the roots of sock-fucking. Thankfully, men dyeing their hair blond remains a California phenomenon. Dave http://www.roadsters.com/
