Sounds like you had great times with your Dad sharing what you both loved those memories will be with you forever

Oh Jerry, Man oh man. so sorry, know what it's like, but, to lose him on Christmas makes it seem like just another day this year. My boss lost his Dad on Father's Day one year. No time is a good time, I guess we're lucky in the long run to have had a Dad,and one that we're close to. My thoughts are with you. Keep him close and take him with you everywhere in your heart.

Tough one man. Lost my drag racin, best friend, hot roddin, dad this time of year a few years ago. Think about him every day. As time goes on I realize relationships like that are very rare. I was very lucky, sounds like you were too.Time heals....
You gota hang in there, lost my dad/best friend back in 82' he was old sprint car builder/ racer. I miss him so much it never gets any less painful, but I hope you can keep him in your heart always and know that there is a bunch of old fart dads havin a great time some where together, lookin down from heaven at us . Sorry for your loss. My dads 82 and i don't get to spend that much time with him. But he's been helping my with my truck. I wish I knew half the stuff he knows. Hopefully we can learn as much as we can from them or the knowledge they know will be lost. sincerely Stephen hang in there .
Sorry for your loss. Holidays make the loss of a loved one even that much tougher. I lost my dad almost 2 years ago. Last time I saw him was Christmas Eve 2008. I just visited his resting place today. I miss him very much. Remember the good times with your dad and hang in there.
so sorry for your loss.my dad never understood the car thing,but he always supported me.he used to love to sit or stand close by the car so he could hear peoples comments.lost him september of 2000.i know he was proud...would have been cool to have a dad like yours, that had that common bond
Your dad sounds like a real cool guy. I feel very sorry whenever anyone loses a loved one. The only thing I can offer is my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. I found the best way to cope with it is to remember the great times. And I'l bet you smile when you do. And, he'll know you are smiling and thinking of him.
it,s a hard thing to lose your dad at anytime of the year i lost my at easter 10 yrs ago he wasn,t a car guy but he knew alot of things and if i ask he would help he will always be with you my prays sent

My dad passed in March, suddenly, just completely out of the blue. This was the first christmas without him. I feel your pain. I learned how to wrench from my dad. My prayers to you. I can tell you that even though it hurts now, recall tails of the good times and it feels so much better. I think of my dad everyday.
