It is just heart wrenching to read a post like this. I send my sincere condolences to you and your family during this very difficult time in your life. I have two sons of my own, one that is a teenager, and just before I read this I was talking to him on the decisions we make in life, and the reasons that I try to protect him so much. We were focusing on the importance of being responsible, and I explained that it was because I could not bear to lose him, and am looking forward to many, many years of fun together. I pray that God will help you cope with the loss, but I can't imagine your pain. May God Bless you!

So sorry to hear. My dad died years back and a friend told me that it doesn't really get better over time, just that you learn to accept it. With the reversed situation that you have experienced, I can only try to imagine how tough it is for you. My heart goes out to you. Neal
I am truly sorry for your loss, I cant begin to imagine how to cope with such a tragedy. My heart and all of my families prayers go out to you.
As someone who's been in the same boat, I know what you're going through. We lost our son, and my best friend, last August at age 38. No words can adequately express or relieve the pain of the loss, but it somehow becomes more bearable as time passes. He is never far from our thoughts, but memories that were at first a source of renewed anguish have now become treasured moments. His epitaph reads, "Always in our hearts" which is exactly where he is. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Count all your other blessings and know that it will get better.
