Looking for an old hot rod - Nor Cal

My buddy built a 1949 International KB-1 truck and sold it in about 1987. He would like to find the truck and potentially acquire it back. Is there anyone that could help him find his old truck?

Here is some info on the truck as of 1987.

- White 1949 International KB-1 truck
- License number CA 2J71660
- Sold in Placerville California
- 283 small block
- 3 speed automatic
- long bed frame with the rear section cut off to run a short bed. The rear fenders were mounted rearward to align with the rear axle.

Any info on how to find this truck would be great.
