    Hey Everybody,

I've been trying to track down a clacking sound in my 8BA for a few weeks with no success. Right now I just want to get a pro to listen to it and see what they can do. Bruce has been very helpful and encouraging but I just don't have the time (or the facilities) to do it right. Can anyone recommend a reliable engine shop in the San Jose area that I can trust with my flatty?

    Thanks,

    Stefan

My first stop would be All Ford Parts in Campbell on Dell Ave. Ask for Bill. He should be able to suggest a good local engine shop.

You could give Gromm Race & Engine Balance on Stockton Ave. a try as well.

Don't forget Sellers... I am sure if you need assistance he might be able to work something out... he owned my favorite shoebox when we were young...
