Projects Look what I traded my golf cart for.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by dv8, Nov 16, 2008.

  1. A 413 in a Yamaha Golf Cart would be cool...

  2. the front axle is probably not bent, they look that way from the factory with a big bend in the center. Looks like it hit a stump

    man...you got ripped....

golf carts are good for hours of near fatal fun.

if you really have a lifted one...your o.k. though.

Really? I have seen the bend up, and down deal, but never the bend back! It does look like it hit a stump! And it doesn't seem to be exactly centered (the bend), it kind of looks like it is closer to the passengers side...That's what made me think it was tweaked.

there letting us drive the lifted ones and some other street legal ones on the STREET here

Its kinda scarry....but they also let you ride scooters under 50cc on the street...with out having to have a drivers license...

so I imagine those guys are the most scared....

but there usually drunks so maybe not....

When I was a kid, the bread man used to drive one of those. Was dark maroon with a loaf of bread. coupe pies, and some doughtnuts painted on the side.

  9. does it look like this? if so, it is actually straight.

Great trade!! I love these old panels. You can go so many ways with them. I picked this one up in Mississippi about a year ago. I would have rather gone all Mopar on it but as you can see it all ready has lots of work done. The frame is a stock S-10 and the motor and trans were all ready done when I got it. Also they have installed a 40 Ford windshield and molded the front cap into one piece. I know it"s too streetrod for this site but that's probably the way this will go. Can't wait to finish my 39 to get started on it. Keep in touch.

  19. Nice trade...about 8 years ago I traded a crappy go cart for a 50 dodge business coupe...coupe is gone but I do have this 54 dodge panel...good luck with your HAMBULANCE or coroner theme...mine still is going strong with the flatty 6...
