Projects Look what followed me home from Jersey

    really cool. I like the side mount spare.

    I think that would be cool to restore back to completely original.... OK maybe a 261 in place of the original mill....may as well put a 5 speed behind it with an open driveline while I got my wrenches out. That's it though...plus an alternator and new wireing... and disc brakes with 5 lugs all around. maybe some black tuck in roll... that 261 will need 3 carbs and duals as well.

    other that that totally restored to original.:)

    why is everyone against rebuilding the ole' stovebolt anyway? are they not tried and true?

    damn everybody is leaving jersey now a great old car.best of luck with your new old car,its a keeper. where in jersey was that beauty hiding.

    When I was a kid our next door neighbor was an antique guy. He had a model T and a '36 Chev coupe in the detached garage/ workshop. Whenever the weather was crummy we would go in the garage and play in the Chev. It was in similar condition to yours. Man, I can still remember what it smelled like. We had a lot of fun in that car. Recently talked to the owner and he sent it down the road a few years back.

    I tell you what!!! Some people have all the luck!!! I'd sell my 54 Bel Air and my 57 3100 for the opportunity to buy a 30s model car in that kind of shape. MANNN
