Looks like they moved the event into the middle of April this year. https://lonestarroundup.com/ They haven't posted the location yet. https://lonestarroundup.com/schedule It's probably going to be within an hours drive from the fairgrounds though. Unlike folks from some parts of the country, Texas born folks don't bat an eye at driving 50 miles or so just for a beer let along a barbecue feed. In the 70's when they had a lot of "dry" counties some guys drove over a hundred miles one way to the closest spot they could by beer. I was hoping that this was the year we drove the 48 down there but we aren't going to make it this year.
