Hey guys, I'll be in London, England for a school trip from April 26th - May 6th and was just wondering if anyone could recommend some hot rod/kustom shops I could check out (buy a t-shirt from, etc.), car shows, or local cruises. I'd like to take in as much of the London hot rod/car scene as possible when I go. If anyone knows of any cool shops or things happening feel free to shoot me a P.M. Thanks! Mitchell de Moor
On a side note... A bunch of years ago I posted a thread on the whereabouts of Dick Dean's Pink Flamingo and someone told me it had made its was to a museum in the U.K. I can't find that thread I posted and would love to know that particular museum. Any cool car stuff I'd be down to do. Thanks!
Post on the NRSA UK site as a guest and plenty of people who are London based will chip in with suggestions for cruises etc; http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/ Try this new event; http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/sho...afe-meet-starts-8th-April-mates-see-you-there And of course there's the Ace Café with many different themed nights and the source of some cool T shirts and other merchandise. http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/ This is the car "museum" being referred to I think; http://www.londonmotormuseum.co.uk/ Brooklands is not far outside London and well worth a visit; http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/ My choice would be Beaulieu (pronounced Bewley); https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/ If you need to stay in London then try the Imperial War Museum - plenty of interest to petrolheads there....
Thank you so much! Brooklands was part of the school trip I'm going on and I was planning on Ace Cafe as well. London Motor Museum looks really good! Thanks man!
