"Little Deuce Coupe" dumbass question

I've always loved that thing. The only thing I ever wondered about is in the cover photo from Hot Rod Magazine. If you look closely at the blower pulley there is a swastika right in the middle! What's up with that?

the whole swastika/iron cross/SS kraze was about intimidation, and rebellion...making a statement about being a hard ass...but how can you be intimidating wearing beige pants and a red jacket with loafers?
besides that swastika is upside down!
