The A Roadster in this feature lived a block or so from me when I was a kid. I thought it was the coolest thing on four wheels. If any body has this issue (I do not I spotted this cover in another post) could you please scan the feature and post it here. This car had the 60's show & go hot rod look NAILED! I am sure many here & myself would enjoy seeing it.
I don't have the feature handy but I believe this photo is from it. I scanned it a while back for inspiration.
I don't have the magazine anymore (I needed money and sold about 1,000 vintage car mags on eBay), but I liked the Nomad so I took that pic to save. The old R&C mags are for sale regularly on eBay. You might be able to purchase a copy.
You are the best. Glad you scanned the pic "for inspiration". That's a real trip down memory lane Every time I see a red "A" roadster I think of that car. That one was the first car I had ever seen with a chromed blown flathead & red metalflake radiator hoses!! I was there (at the local park) the day that photo shoot was done. I hung around asking questions and Linda's dad (local fat cat & old fart) finaly shooed me away!! Since I saw that cover I have been looking for the issue on ebay...no luck yet. Thanx BBD
