Lincoln /MEL to '39 trans adapter??

So I have this adapter I don't need and would like to sell it. Problem is I'm not sure what its for? Anyone know? It has a casting number which is A-47 as far as I can tell.

do you know what year MELs it will bolt up to?

 

Don't have a clue. Anyone know what the numbers are? Someone musy have an old catalogue...

I think that '58-'61 M-E-Ls had the same pattern as an FE, and in '62, for reasons unknown, Ford changed the block pattern to something unique.
