    on the 32 sedan i had,same problem
i put the tag in the middle of the spreader bar,put 2 bust nuts in the spreader bar on the gas tank side so you could not see the bolts,
angled it back, put the tag light on the bottom, ran wire in the spreader bar
    looked clean and neat

I was trying to find a picture of Carl Von Hofgaareden's tudor, but I cant find one that shows the rear end. I am almost certain that it was centered above the tank between the spreader with a custom frame and bracket. I think that is the way to go! Great looking tudor!

Not a Tudor, not with a tank, but you are begging for pics :)

It's a late 40s Olds woodie rear tailgate emblem that will be lighted for the plate....to go with the Olds motor I am using. I hope to cast a new lens that says Rocket 324 or whatever..

My 18 yr old son talked me into using a big diameter push bar/spreader.

Danny, PM Scott (Moter). He has a nice setup on the left taillight stand. I don't have any good pics of it.

I'm confused! Did you sell the roadster or just buy another 32? Cause Danyelle told me you couldn't sell the roadster??

Just did my 3 window with the license on the spreader bar. Use a pair of aluminum brackets that I happened to get from Lobecks/V8 shop. Fastened to the spreader with 2 knurled nutserts. I used a SS backing plate and round license light from Speedway with a SS frame from Drake. Everything was leftovers except the brackets. All the wires are hidden in the spreader bar and it looks good.

I wouldn't put the plate anywhere on the car. Anywhere you put it the plate would just look out of place on that cool ride. I think I'd just cary the plate in the car and take my chances.
Where I'm from cops don't mess with Hot Rods and Muscel cars. I can roll thru down setting off car alarms with slicks and fake plates the cops just give me a thumbs up! Been doing it 20 years!

  21. I think the spreader bar is the best option.. The new C-dan rules!!

By the way Danny, I've got a matched pair of Texas 1932 plates. They are straight but need to be sand blasted and painted. Let me know if interested..

  22. I think under the left tail light is where I'd put it..I totally dig the sedan, good choice, more room..

Sorry only one pic of a sedan but the coupes are mounted off the spreader bar as well.

Before you start drilling holes, I'll trade you a brand new Vintique rear spreader bar for that one......i mean it!!!!

The spreader bar is the best loction whether in front or behind , centered or off set. I'm going to put mine behind the spreader bar and off set so not to cover the quick change.

    Nice Sedan!

I am not diggin the center mount at all, and I have plenty of spare spreader bars to use to modify, I think a modidfied side mount will be best looks kinda goofy on top of the tank like those, let me did through my pics
