Hey Everyone, Just a reminder about our open house on July 17 here at LG Kustoms. Our two main focus points on this open house are, one being the shop, and the things we do here, and second, we want to educate the younger hot rod generation about the history of hot rodding and custom cars here in Edmonton. With that we are trying to organize a small exhibit to honor the pioneers of hot rodding in Edmonton, and get as many of the Alumni down here to share their memories, photos and anything else they can offer. We have found a couple Survivor hot rods and kustoms that were built here in Edmonton to have on location, and are still on the hunt for more. So if you are, or know of anyone, who wants to come down and give us all a history lesson let me know! And if you dont have any history to share, but want to learn some, or even just hang out to eat some food, thats cool too. There will be preferred parking for hot rods, kustoms and race cars, whether they were built 50 years ago, or last week! Once again, July 17, LG Kustoms and Hotrods, 16718F-111 Ave!! See you there!! Built in the early - mid 60's by Terry Capp and Bob Cantin. Now owned by Ryan Pomedlli. Not HAMB friendly, but still a bad ass period perfect lowrider! Huge Thanks to everyone that came down to check us out. There was atleast 45 - 50 cars that stopped in, and a few hundered people. For our first open house, I was very impressed and look forward to doing it again next year!!
Looks like a lot of fun!! Wish I could have made it but got tied up with other things. Definitley aiming for next year.

Looks like a good time - thanks for posting the pics! Also looks like a pretty good turnout. I'm just finding out about the shindig now, so will put you on the 'bucket list' for next year. I'd have to say you must have bribed the weatherman too! Congrats on the success of the event. -Dave
