One cant help but love the sexy lines of the Tweenie: and so appropriately named - A quick Google suggests it shares a similar front end to the sizarre - any relation? - did the childrens program plagiarize the tweenie name?

A tweenie was a "between-stairs maid", a sort of spare domestic who could be set to help out anywhere in a household, i.e. neither specifically upstairs nor downstairs. Tweenies were often the youngest female servants; their status was somewhat analogous to FNG on the HAMB.

I'd expect that the car was so named for associations with cuteness, eagerness, versatility, and way too much energy.

Great to see Duncan's V8 Curtiss engined GN coming back to life. Really enjoyed sketching it in this state with all the pistons and gears exposed. It's also going through a lightening regime - it'll be a lot more holey than when you last saw it!

Stefan I really like your style of drawing. You show detail where it's needed, but not in the total picture giving it an unfinished appearance. Thanks for showing us.

SizAIRE ... no relation at all to the Tweenie. For the genesis of the Sizaire's front suspension check out Decauville (that too, was a termed a "voiturette").

Thanks very much! I think I try to do the same with my photos - using the shallow depth of field to blur out some bits and allowing you to focus on one small area.

I have noticed that you do this with photos. I like your drawings more, they show lots of personality.

What do you think of this Bedelia being used as an ambulance?
