Technical Lets see your tail lights

I need some ideas for some vintage style tail lights for my '30 coupe. I know I don't want '39 ford or '50 Pontiac or ANY of the common go to lights. lets see the different ideas. thanks

yup, Olds lights on an A work well with the squareness of the body.

 

I always liked the 48 Chevy on the back of the old coupes/roadsters.

 

Forgot about these on my 35. Had new lenses made with bottom 1/2 amber for indicators, required downunder.

I can't remember what year Buick had that resembles a 58 Biscayne tail light.
Oh and the 58 Biscayne looks good too on a Model A Ford.

1954 Buick...

 

I have 39 Ford tear drops on my 32. My second choice is the 54 Buick - they are just right.... Wonder if anyone repops these??

 

40 chevy passenger car lights turned sideways going in the back panel of my 34 ford coupe.

 

Desoto lights are my favorite. but expensive.

 

37 Chrysler here. Very similar to the Desoto..

Those Desoto and Chryser lights are beautiful...

 

when I did this Model A. I used Harley tail lights. They fit the fender perfect.

 

I will be doing this to my jalopy very soon. I have it all mapped out.

 

A little generic but I liked the way the Chevies matched the rounded squareness of my A Tudor. Obviously not done yet but you get the idea.

 

47 Chevy tail lights, 48 Rolls tag light, plate on 4 raised areas to lift it off the panel. Will be framed by a simple chrome surround.

Now installed on my 30 coupe.

My '49 Lincoln tail lights with blue dots.
Would look cool and different on your car.

Nothing new here. The tail lights have been the most viewed aspect of this little rod since it hit the road! LOL!
