Here is one I just finished and sold at the Turkey Run. You may have seen it at Sonny DePalma's booth. Sold for $350.00. Most people came up thinking it was a Norm Skull. I was greatly happy with that kind of compliment but there is no comparison to a Norm Skull. Norms are the holy grail of skull shift knobs as far as I'm concerned.:D

Here are a few of mine that I have made over the last couple years. I know this is for favorites but,,,hey...what the hell...just thought I would put them out there to check out. The metal ones are hallow. The copper one was made for Dave Shuten's bubble top car. OH, and my metalflake teardrop knobs are for sale on my web site.

  27. My, educated, guess would be somewhere in the $2500 range.

  28. I think I paid $400 for mine (post #130) in '96. Mighta been $600. Now that I think about it, it was probably $600, because the mugs he was making were $800 at the time and I'm pretty sure the knob was $200 less. Anyhoo, talked to Norm at a show not to long ago and he told me I got a screaming deal on mine cuz they start well over 1K now....before "options." So, yeah, with the aluminum tongue and jaw, etc., $2500 probably isn't a stretch.

I changed my mind, my new favorite is the white and tangerine swirled glass knob in my '28. Apperantly it was an option
