My '62 Sedan Deville with her old "love it or hate it" paint job. She got me started on American classics, outlasted a few girlfriends, and left me with some awesome memories...
Here's our 37 Buick Roadmaster. We've owned it for 15 plus years. It's got a 472 Caddy, Turbo 400 trans, 78 Monte Carlo front end. It's got a 6-1/2" chop and painted 95 Ford ultra violet purple. We used it in both of our daughters weddings.
Our '56 Olds Holiday 88 went from when we bought it like this: To this: Go here for the paint thread:http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=393929&highlight=watson+olds
I like 4 doors on Kustom cars...nothing cooler for me than seeing a chopped custom 4 door with the rear suicide doors...wow. Like the Lincoln Continental used in the Matrix (only one i could think of on short notice). Thanks for posting your pics guys. I am having fun checking them all out.
That is so great. It is got so much Ed Roth flavor in it, in fact I had a smaller pic of this car on my hard drive for a while now, and always thought that was a car built in the 60ies.
4 doors can be good too especially if it's a luxury car or has suicide doors. Cadillac and Chevrolet had some nice flat top 4 doors in the late 50s/early 60s too. Here's some of my family and my 4 door projects. Someone please show some 4 door love and buy the 51 Plymouth and 62 Galaxie, my dad has thought about scrapping them.
The Picture in my avatar is my baby had it for a long long time and Love it, great when Traveling can sleep in the Back Seat! and when you have Kids they Stay in the Back I had Plenty of 2 Door but I never sold my 4 door
Here's mine, found March of this year. Nice and solid, little rust. All original, down to the vintage Anco wipers. Been nosed, decked, shaved, excess trim removed, will get frenched taillights, custom grill, Lake Pipes and will ride on vintage Keystone torque-thrust clones.
