For the first time in 11 years I've got a garage, although it's ancient and quite small. Much better than nothing, though. Tonight all I've got parked in the garage is air. Tomorrow afternoon I pick up my new project (hence the empty trailer) and will post pics in the evening.

Hey nice little garage. A little insulation and a space heater it shouldn't take much to make it toasty warm in there...and you've usewd your organizing skills too.

  6. this is it....what it is now, and where it;s headed....the pics are in the wrong order...hahah..have to fill tulip area and stretch the front doors still...the pillars are top secret still and the rest of the car is too...hahah

Either the garage is bigger than it looks or Essex are smaller than I thought.

The Essex is pretty small, about the size of a Model A. The garage is 12' x 20' and there's just enough room to walk around the car with all that crap I've got stashed in there.

Cool little garage, but man, that would drive me crazy! I'd be making immediate plans to add onto the back of it for a little shop or just a place to kick back in. (easy for me to spend your money, huh?).

Yeah, it's always easier to spend someone else's money. :p

Our plan is to build a new garage on the other side of the yard, about 20 x 26 if we can get away with it. The new one will become the workshop, and the old garage will be for storing the rod in during the winter months. Just have to come up with the cash to build the new shop first.

I guess we can never have enough garage space. Just yesterday, I had to take the enormous Venus body to an enclosed storage shed that is costing $100/month. When the body was in there, I could not walk around in my garage at all...the engine and chassis taking up the other half. Actually, I moved it because I'm at the point of sanding off all of the old filler and primer, and I don't think my neighbors take kindly to the noise and dust.

    Onward and upward!
