I have been using Alemite CD2 Lead Substitute for many years and it seems to work quite well in my older high performance engine. However, I am down to my last two bottles. They no longer make the stuff, so what can I use that is reasonably economic. I have been told there are two incompatible types of lead substitute and I have no idea which one the Alemite is.

I don't know about the lead substitute, I use CD2 oil detergent for stuck rings and lifters old time Napa dealer tells me still sold under a different part# now made by an auto wax Co. I don't remember which Co. Might be worth checking.
