Looks good Flop. Can you show us more on the rivets, Like how you do them and where you get them and what tools you need. I Really like your build.

Mule Farmer i cheat on the rivets they are all burned in with the tig . i get them from snyders they are used for floor pans etc in Model As

the drivers door turned out to be pretty nasty

but got it tacked altogether to see if it fits better

and its does fit a ton better!

made the subrail extension so the back of the cab has something to mount to . still going to make a little radius for some clearance in the middle .

Awesome work. Thanks for covering a lot of the tedious parts on this truck. I'm sure it will help with future builds, mine included. I need to get to Pittsburgh and visit where the majic happens.:D

My buddy Russ stopped by this weekend from Jersey and I had the perfect thing for him to do ...Help me make a half sheet of metal look like the back of a truck !

we got this spot welded to the subframe and primed

roll the bead then break the metal

    then put your radius in

then it gets to the poitn where we hope it fits!

add some crown and get bending

    this t-ruck is a mess

    now we are talkin !!

Amazing work! That back panel is so cool. Wish I could fabricate half as good as you. Awesome project.

  24. Nice work Flop! Did you use a tipping wheel to get a flange on the curved pieces in that back panel?
